LIMAHSOON Berhad ("LIMAHSOON") is an integrated manufacturer of laminated boards, made from the abundant and renewable plantation resource of rubberwood. Supported by in-house sawmilling, pressure treatment and kiln-drying, LIMAHSOON is able to undertake all aspects of raw material supply, pre-treatment, processing and finishing with strict quality control.

Between 1999 and 2003, LIMAHSOON's revenue grew by an average annual rate of 20.6%. In 2003, the market size for laminated boards is approximately RM525 million. With a revenue of RM44.7 million derived from the manufacture of laminated boards specifically, LIMAHSOON has captured approximately 8% market share and is ranked No. 1 in Malaysia.*

During year 2004, LIMAHSOON achieved a significant milestone in its corporate history with a successful listing on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 22 July 2004. For the same year, LIMAHSOON reported a revenue of RM44.9 million.

LIMAHSOON's laminated boards are mainly sold to local and foreign furniture manufacturers. The company also exports its laminated boards directly to countries such as Germany, Japan, Denmark, China, India and Korea. This is a testament to the company's ability to meet the stringent requirements of overseas markets. Since Malaysia exports approximately RM5.8 billion worth of furniture in 2003, this large user industry would continue to sustain and provide significant growth opportunities to LIMAHSOON.
