FSC-CHAIN OF CUSTODY POLICY STATEMENT

Kilang Papan Lim Ah Soon Sdn Bhd is aware of the growing international concern regarding the management of forests globally and the related environmental issues. We are committed in the long-term protection of this valuable resource. It is the policy of our company to avoid using wood that has been illegally harvested, and wood from genetically modified trees, from areas where traditional or civil rights are violated, and from uncertified forests with threatened high conservation values. The company has appointed Ms. Helen Chan Kah Yee as the contact person responsible for implementing this policy.

If it is demonstrated that our company is using wood from such sources, we will promptly take appropriate actions, including stopping purchases from such sources for products covered by this policy.

Our products are from rubber plantation and forest timber and the monitoring system that is implemented would enable us to trace our labeled products to the original source. If it proves impossible to identify the origin of some of these raw materials, we are committed to replacing them with materials which can be sourced with confidence. Our reports will describe our system for verifying and monitoring our sources, the proportions of raw materials which have not yet been verified, and the steps being taken to replace materials of unknown origin. All FSC certified materials are manufactured to strict standards ensuring compliance with the FSC percentage based system.
